Default X-Power 32' Spectre

Does anyone have any information on the X-power 32' Spectre? I saw it in Havasu at the last poker run. Looks like it has a pair of monster motors in it. The rumor is that it has twin 1300/1500's in it. Whats the story on this thing?

Hello,
It's the 32 spectre with twin 1270hp pfaff motors on pump gas. The motors made a little over 1600 on race gas on the dyno, but we have never run on the higher boost levels yet. The efi is motec fuel management systems with data aquisition. It has our X Power Drives on it. We use it as our test mule and the drives have run for over 2 years problem free with the same oil in it. We have had it to 173 and it was still going but for some reason I have never legged it out all the way, and it doesn't matter if it has 1 or 5 people in it it goes pretty good. Luckily it has been very very reliable. It has only had 2 problems. One was I kept dropping the water pressure because everybody said 60psi was to much and once I was down around 30 it actually detonated a piston. (not fun) I raised the water pressure back up and the motors are perfect but now I have cracked the sea strainer lids, so I made them out of billet aluminum and problem solved. It also has our New X Power Stainless Gimbal rings which we now sell to the public and warranty for life. The boat has automated trim functions, and lots of underwater lights, and tunnel lights, and interior lights that change color. Also the stereo is the actual monster of the boat. Took months to build the stereo and it is fun. It also has a generator on board. So it"s 50 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb bag. It also has about a thousand other things, but that's boating. I built it to display the X Power Drives and show different technologies that don't exist in the boating world. It took about 2 solid years to build. I hope this helps..
Also as a side note I have another 32 spectre all white with twin Ilmores and a crazy stereo and beautiful interior that is for sale, if you know anybody.

I just posted a youtube link to the boat. A video should be worth a thousand words.

Wow, those power plants are gnarly! How does the boat feel at 150+?

It's perfectly flat and smooth. You cant tell the difference between 110mph and 170mph. I'll post a video of us at lake elsinore which is really short and it goes 159, but at the half way point I had to manage the rpm's because the props were way to short.

This is a video of the motors at pfaff in the early days then pics of the boat at the end of the video.

this is another run with taller props on the same lake and it went to 170 and again I had to throttle back because the revs were to high, it was still accelerating.

Man, that's one sick Spectre. Is that a giant 15" subwoofer mounted between the front & back seats in the sidewall? Looks like a ridiculous stereo in that thing.
