this single engine /twin engine question will, I guess, never be answered with a bullet proof answer. Never thought about that single drive reliability on a monster engine versus 2 smaller engine and 2 drives... But that is why I guess nobody will ever have the right answer...
Indeed, I still vote for smaller twins. A friend of mine was running alongside with me when I had my 26 foot Chris craft. I had 2 350-320 hp total 640 hp. He was in a PQuest 26 single 454-385 hp. cruising speed was 40-45 mph. On a 2 1/2 hours trip to go and 3 hours back against tide, I spent 5$ more than he did...
So again, I still vote for twins...

If all of the 32s want to get together with Dave F it should be very easy, just meet him at the ramp and idle 5 miles and back and that is where he will be.Finney T M B.

Ahh, you vewy funny meester humpa, vewy funny.
Why don't you come over and give me a hand in getting her back together? Oh, never mind. You only have professionals do it.
Hey, seriously, are you gonna be at "band on the bay" or "waterstock" this year? (what ever you wanna call it)
I figure since it's gonna be at Lloyd's I'll be able to get that far.

No matter how much you and I bust balls it's serious when it comes to the kids. I'm glad to hear your daughter is doing better.
I agree. Time to GIT-R-DONE. I think I'm gonna head out right now and start cleaning the bilge.
The rest is cake. Just put it in and hook'r up.
I hope to get to Lloyds either early that morning or the night before. Depends on what other people are doing I guess.
What about you?
