If you got the cash order you a new one just the way you want it. Or you could buy used and let someone else take the hit. Most all of the used 288 I looked at were in very good shape. I bought an 02 in Jan. and it was unbelievable how clean the boat was.

Not a lot of 288 MCOB on the market right now, a couple with windshields. What region you looking in?

Buy a 32 MCOB so you won't have to trade up. This is an 04 with ZERO hours on new factory motors. It is still at the dealer waiting to be picked up. Mercury extended warranty until 12/2010!

The twin boats are easier to handle than the single screw boats. This 32 was my first go fast boat and the last COO of Sunsation told me if I could make it happen buy the bigger boat since they are only 4 ft apart. He was right on, the 4 ft difference is nothing and the luxury of twins is priceless when you need that extra motor. His motto was buy the bigger boat so you won't have to buy it next year!

Good luck in your search. Also see www.sunsationboats.com forums.

Hey firemedjoe, My name is William and I'm a Sunsation dealer located in Norfolk, Va. I currently have a left over 2006 288 MCOB with zero hrs. The boat comes has a 496 mag, windshield, quick and quiet exhaust, upgraded bezels and rims, and a full warranty from date of sale. We have sat on this boat for too long and it needs a home. Its a great opportunity for someone to get a used boat price on a brand new boat. Its the best of both worlds. If I can be of any help to you please let me know.I also have several 32SS in stock as well. My office number is 757-362-2541 thanks

Firemedjoe, you may want to consider what JS is saying. He tried to talk me into a 32 back when I was looking, just couldn’t swing the extra cash (bigger truck). Now that I have had my 288 MCOB for a six months I would love to be in a 32 MCOB.

I’m keeping my eye out for a truck now……
