Question

Probably if went with 288 I will go with 525 upgrade. If I went with the 32 stay with the 496HO's, but like jpdcoo comments twice everything! My lift would work with the 288, not big enough for the 32, everything keeps adding up, sure cost to play!

My boat went from running 4700-4800 rpms at 68mph when it had premium in it from the previous owner, to 5100 rpms now that I got it running on 100% regular 87, labbed 24, and k&n only up grades. And its hitting 70 with 2 people and 1/3-1/2 tank. So that's a 5 mph difference to a 25 outlaw.

That's strange... the PQ ripped off 69.57 gps with 2 people and 2/3 tank... with a 45gallon bigger tank I might add.... so much for slow boat syndrome
Also the outlaw 25 gets about 65 with 496ho (according to guy on higgins) and a standard bravo 24... willing to bet he'd be around 67 with a labbed prop such as yours... IMO

Actually that was quoted from boattest.com

My gauge actually was reading between 3/4 and full on the water but on the trailer it actually would read between 1/4-1/2.

Reguardless of what tank u have doesn't change the fact u had no where near max capacity in it.

If u had 2/3 tank y did u have to get gas Sunday? 2/3 on your gauge sitting in the water maybe. Put it on the trailer and its gonna read far less.

Bottomline you told me when I got this boat the guy was lying to me and it would never hit 68. Looks like my little single is doing far better than ud hoped it would do.

It's unfortunate that now I'm gonna have to beat u again this weekend. And now ill even put one of the stupid smilies at the end like you do after everytime you try to take something away from me or my boat.

U must have the fastest 288/496ho setup in the country then... especially for claiming you hit 70 in it with 5 250+lb warthog guys in it lmao. I could care less what your boat runs I have the setup I want for now and its no wonder why I have to defend u on your own forum half the time...
BTW instead of trying to be a keyboard commando maybe u aughta go practice getting your boat into a slip the first try so I don't have to switch you slips again... lmao

Only have had my boat in a slip once. U have to defend me on forums cause u post videos zeroing in on my lack of tether use. And as for the 4 fat guys plus me doin 70 I sed we were near 70, them guys sed we hit it and I'm sure the needle on the speedo reads different when seeing it from the back seat.

Hell maybe I do have the fastest near stock setup in the nation. Factory freaks are built everyday. My cts v dynoed wayyy higher than it was supposed to when I put it on the rollers.

Just make sure Ur ready to follow the unable to hit 68 sunny around torch this weekend.

A 525 powered 288 would be a great combination. Good luck boat shopping
