Default Bigger Power in my 32

I'm just a week or so from installing my new motors. They are 502's with some head work and a Brodix single plane intake, 750 BLP carb and Eikert 2" oval Flame arrestor. Question I have is this, has anyone upgraded to a similar configuration and if so, did you have to raise the engine hatch mounts or cut in to it? And if so, how much? I'm just trying to prepare for when I finally install motors. Thanks for any feedback I can get.

I'm putting in a couple of 500hp carb motors in this weekend. Your hatch should a couple of notches molded in for the breathers, mine does.

Thanks for the reply Sun, but I have a 97 and they must have been pre notches in the deck.
