Tried to buy a 36....That was the plan

Ended up buying a 04 38 Top Gun with 525's for a lot less than half the price of a new 36. It's a Buyers market on used boats!

I don't blame you one bit, the deals are out there and you got a great looking boat for a fraction of the cost, that is sure to turn some heads! Congrats! I am sure knowing you the boat will only get better

im totally not believing this story! i own a same hull and have been told state wide unless you raise the drive and put *800 plus hp in that boat its not doing mid 80"s let alone 90's !!

i have a 95 502 mag mpi bravo set up spinning a 25 hydro 4 and tried a 25 mirage good for 67 at 4800 rpm. which merc told me is excellent prop slip. joe and wayne have been my contacts on my speed info. so what the hell power you running in that????

good thing im stepping up to a new boat this year or the fiance would be mad, cause id be spending some money on setting mine up like this.

Jay, you should be running alot better than you are. I had a 96' with a 502 HO and ran a best of 77-78 GPS with a 24pitch 4 blade. Fastboats had a 500 in it when he owned it and ran over 80 on GPS. Matt Miller was knocking on the door of 90 if not just a hair over with over 600 H.P or right around there. Those boats move really well. I keep looking at the one on Craigs list and wanting to re do it. I miss my Aggressor alot! Fast and the fuel use was awesome

800hp is what it takes to get it done. Call me crazy but I switch drives depending on the area im in. Oh river I run a 2" shortie on lake Erie i run stock length.
