Default 288 midcabin owners, I have an info request.

Anyone own a 288 mid cabin open bow?

I was wondering if you could take some pictures of the layout of the cabin and bow section?

Please let me know if you have one and are willing to answer a couple of questions about it.

Looking for info on the 28' to 29' mid cabins. Advantage and sunsation are the only ones that came to mind.

Thank you, Brian

I have a o5 288. You can ask any question and I will give you a honest opinion. Don't know anything about advantage.

I have a 32 MCOB and absolutely love it. If you can swing it, definitely step up to the 32 ... it's an entirely different boat that you'll want to upgrade to eventually anyway. Spend money once!

Suggest you take a look on the Sunsation Forums - lots of pics and talk! Good luck!

This is the "Just Left the Factory" section of Sunsation's website. You can browse many different boats, trim levels (S, SS, SSR, XRT) and see different colors/patterns.

Thank you jupiter for the link. What I am looking for is the interior features and layout. I see they put the potti in the middle so it slides out from undeath the cockpit liner, neat idea.

The other things I was wondering about was how deep are the front seats below the deck line? How long is the opening from front to back? I have tall kids!

What is it like to ride up front? at what point do you pull people from the front if it gets too rough?

Might have to take a factory tour as it is only 1.5 hours from my brothers house in Milford, MI.

Been sent a few pictures from very helpful people. Next time someone is by theirs, I was wondering if you would measure how deep the front seats are on a 288? (vertical height from cushion to deck.

If I had to guess, would think around 18" to 20"

Thank you,

Brian

Hello Brian,

The seat is 18 inches tall. When sitting with your feet forward the total distance is 76 inches.

I hope this helps.
