Thanks all for the support !!! Really dont think anything happend to the boat, but Jim Wilkes will go through all systems next week while doing routine maintainence ....
WORDS OF WISDOM FROM RICK:
1) Purchase & Wear " The LifeLine Jackets" if you plan on goin over 45 on any given day... They make one just for SUNSATION and there is no better mfr for life vests...... talk to Dave at the factory and get one !!!!!!!!
2) WEAR YOUR LANYARDS / Kill Switch Tethers ....
Thats it ! ........those two points will save you years of physical greif and finnacial pain....and perhaps even your LIFE !
As to what happend.....
I was cruising in the Long Beach Break Water on the way to lunch ; NO ALCOHOL.... The break water is a some what protected from the Sea area in So Cal... There' big jettys to push away the Pacific's energy and swell.... The winds were gusty 25mph +, 2-3 Ft wind waves & many other boat wakes ... It was like a soup bowl.....
I was heading into the wind and all the sudden started chinning .... From my past experience ( 150 hrs. on this boat), the boat would just get through it .... Those that witnessed, say the nose caught a rogue wave and .... next thing I new I was in the water ..... boat came to a peaceful stop 200 yards away as I took the lanyards with me over board.....I ended up with Broken pelvis ( ouch ) and the passenger ended up with a broken knee & two craked disks in her back...recovery will be six to eight weeks out...That's what's I know.....

PS... Summer is really comming around out here and I plan on doing some harbor cruising to nice tunes with crakers , cheese and sunshine .... to aid in recovery of course.......
