I say $9,000 tops. I paid $9,500 for mine 1990 two years ago and it needed interior and trailer work. I think I might have even paid a little too much but I realy wanted and love the boat. The owner was asking $12,000 because that was what he owed on it still. I got him down to $9,500 because of the work it needed. Seller had to take out a personel loan for the difference. Sucks for him but his wife wanted it gone.

I looked at this boat 2 years ago. It was really dirty. Inside and out. I didnt look to hard at the condition of the transom, motor, etc. because I was lookin for a boat that was well taken care of. I remember it needing carpet and I think the trailer was pretty rusty. The guy hard it in a dirt floor garage that was barely wider than the boat and it was dark in their. I was only their for about 10 minutes.
I had a Rocket on craigslist for $1500 couple months ago.

When I looked at it. It was downriver also. I think it was around Trenton. The guy also had a 30 foot or so Bayliner called the Pu**y Magnet or something similar to that. Real sweet ride!
