Tell us a little bit more about your setup. Are you running standard length drives? How does your X Dimension look? What props and RPM are you turning....we can calculate your slip #'s if we have that. I have HP500's with about 550 per side in my 2003 and my best speed so far is 88.

I was talking to a gentleman at red eyes dock bar a couple of summers ago who showed me pictures of his single step dominator and he claimed it ran like 115 mph. He lives in the southern md area and ive seen his boat talked about on these forums.... If I didnt see it talked about on here I would have remained skepticle, even though he had pics and seemed legit those are crazy numbers to be throwing out there for a 32 step hull.... If im not mistaking the post on this website at the time I read it claimed it was the fastest dominator of the generation hull to date. I forget his name and its bugging me.

What really sucked was when he approached me he asked me how fast my boat was? Which broke my heart to be honest about how fast my boat really was, then to make me feel even worse he starts talking about his boat and showing pics..... made me feel reeeeeeeaaaaaallllllyyy slow.

I'm trying to figure out if my 98 32 Dominator is tapped out on hull speed or if I just need more horsepower? I have 770HP motors now and 100 only happens once in awhile. I don't really want to change the handling of the boat by putting drive extensions but they definately help. Hoping someone out there has been where i'm at and can shed some light on the situation!
With 770HP per motor you certainly have the ponies to get the job done. If you are stll running stock Bravo lowers then that is whats holding you back from a consistant 100mph.
Invest in a set of Imco -2" shorty lowers because your Bravo's are whats holding you back. Even if they have nose cones on them they won't perform as well as an Imco shorty drive.
I know you don't want the Stern Jacks (drive extensions) but I can tell you they gave me a solid 5mph gain after repropping.
