The factory did a 32 with 600's and another with 700's that were over 100... I'm sure with drive mods you could put one with 525's close to 100. Those were the twin step models though, I think with the straight bottom dominator you'd be looking at around 600/side to see 100. Dominator Scott has the hull you have and sees over 100, PM him, tell him his buddy AJ says hi

FYI,my 97 twins HP500 ran low 80's... like 83-84... my 2007 twin step with 496 ho ran the same...
so, not sure what it takes for 100...
my 25 ol with 502 ran 65, with whipple low 80's so 150 extra HP = 15 mph
between 600 and 650 would do I guess...

I'm trying to figure out if my 98 32 Dominator is tapped out on hull speed or if I just need more horsepower? I have 770HP motors now and 100 only happens once in awhile. I don't really want to change the handling of the boat by putting drive extensions but they definately help. Hoping someone out there has been where i'm at and can shed some light on the situation!

i would think that mid 90's is a good safe speed. I have not seen that in mine and not planning on taking the steps neccesary to get there... that's just my opinion. how do the newer 32's feel in the mid 90's anyway??
you just looking for a bigger # on the top end?
