Wanted Sunsation 32 MCOB 2006-Present
Looking for a Sunsation 32 MCOB preferably with 6.2s. I'm as meticulous as they come so no junk offers. Can anybody advise from experience a top speed with 6.2s?

That seems to be the conclusion I've been finding. Like the big blocks, but extra money spent on gas for a few miles and hour just doesn't seem right to me. Plus there are aftermarket heads and exhaust upgrades that will increase the HP so I can achieve a little more MPH. Thanks for the info.

I'm upgrading my 6.2s right now...don't expect to be able to upgrade cheaply. It made sense for my situation. But if you are going in to it expecting to upgrade later...just buy what you want.

Funny thing is that it wasn't until recently I've been considering 6.2s. It wasn't until I had conversation with a twin 6.2 Sunny owner who advised about the pros 6.2a yield. My goals are a solid 70 plus mph boat and that is what a twin 6.2 sunny gives. Then there is always a head/exhaust/computer tweak option to give a little extra. Thanks for the info

I recently purchase a 2005 Dominator with 496's. I water tested one with the 6.2 and have driven one with the 496's, a close friend has an 2001 with the HO's. Out of the hole the one's with the 496 like to "stand up" a little more, but the mid-rang punch the 496's give you is night and day difference. The one I water tested with the 6.2's topped out at 67, now this was full of fuel and 3 adults. I have had mine and my buddy's right about 80 with the same load. These speeds were with a handheld gps. I wanted to be able to go over 70
