Default 32 Dominator Draft

We are looking at upgrading from our current Formula 272 and a 32 Dominator is on the short list.
The only concern I have is whether or not we'll be able to get it in/out of our lake house as it's on a chain of lakes with a couple fairly shallow channels. Worst of which is the one back to the house - about 2'.
Does anybody know what one with a pair of iron big blocks draws with the drives fully tucked?
I know it'll be hard on u-joints but it is what it is.

Man...I have small blocks and I don't think I could pull that off.

36 inches at rest on current hull with big blocks I wouldn't be surprised if your 272 was over 30 inches..

mooring ball and a tender ?? just kidding

Ball/tender is a good idea but not an option, none are available on the chain.

Is that 36 with the drives up or down? Easy to pick up ~ a foot by tucking them...
Worst case it could spend the nights on the beach - sugar sand and sand bottom lake.
It's between this and a 292/312 Formula.

36 down. I assume by tucked in you mean raised up as far as you can and still draw water to the engines and have enough prop in the water to move forward. Not sure if you could buy another foot, but it would be close. I don't think it would be any different than the formulas you are considering.

Sounds like you need a jet drive!
