Closest airport to Washington, NC

I'm shopping airfare for the Washington race. Where should I fly into and out of??? Greenville has an airport but it's like $800.00 for a ticket. Should I fly into Raleigh, Greenboro, or Charlotte?? And how far of a drive is it to Washington for these places????

How long of a drive from Charlotte???

It looks like Raleigh-Durham is the closest with the shortest drive (2hr.)

WOW !!!

Perhaps the Airlines saw the $10,000 Entry fee for the Kilos and thought maybe they weren't charging enough?

You might have Charlotte and Raleigh backwards. Charlotte is 1.5 to 2 hours southeast of Raleigh and Reggieville is 125 miles east of Raleigh.

Re: Closest airport to Washington, NC

Raleigh is the closest major airport. I use to live there and drive to Washington, NC every weekend. It is about 2 hr. from the RDU Airport. Charlotte is considerably further.

Re: Closest airport to Washington, NC

Greenville, N.C(airport code: PGV) is the closest airport to Washington - - about a 20 min. drive to the factory. If you use this airport be sure that you specify NORTH Carolina - - many have ended up in Greenville, South Carolina!!
