I deleted the thread, but not before saving a copy of both pages of posts. Many made great points, and I appreciate the input. A portion of Ned's post said a lot, as he is a newcomer looking in. I have that saved as well.

Funny...my thread was deleted on the OSS side because of the stupid things BS was saying.....but it just shows you...even if you are a member of OSS and you ask some questions and a board member says stupid things to make the Organizations sound bad...they just delete it....instead of letting people see were some problems lie....

There are plenty of people that look at these threads, just because they dont post to them doesnt mean they arent being looked at. whether it's this sandbox or another, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. Just another thing to think about!

I am not one of his peers, so its not my place to judge him.
do i agree with everything he writes NO. but that is my choice and my opinion. This thread really served no purpose other than to belittle BS, does he care? you would have to ask him.
Maybe you can send him a PM, and then you will get his reply, for if its done in a public forum it will be disected and torn open, just like a rotting carcas being torn open by vultures.
And we all participate in the feeding when when the first one moves in.
Whether people take this stuff seriously, it has a impact, while BS may not be a favorite to those that voted against him, from the outsider looking in the glass house, they see a group of disgruntled people ready to lynch someone. this thread and its first part was the top of subject matter for over a week. Not Racing, Not the next venue, not how to better the sport. but whether OSS or BS. thats a shame.
That is all i will write about this, I hope the moderator will see that the thread has no value to offshore racing, SBI/APBA, OSS, BS, or anybody that really cares about the sport.

The attachment in post two was written by a friend of OSS (Ned), who has observed the posting habits of individuals on OSO for awhile. His comments are certainly not a result of anyone trying to make BS look bad. Read Ned's post again - his comments are about BS as a person and his irresponsible posting.
The original thread was started mainly to show that those of us who have been labeled as "OSS haters" really have no problem with OSS at all. Any animosity toward OSS was mainly directed at an individual who represents OSS very poorly. I would think OSS members would like to know that.
