Last word was there where mechanical abnormalities that came to light on Saturday. Nothing that can't be remedied... but not in the time available.
"Cat Killer" doesn't even begin to describe what is in store for the future.
The engines are making unbelievable hp...just need to get rid of the gremlins. I think we all know what that is like.
Tough luck guys...

If your thinking each...that's a little optimistic...if your thinking total...that's about as low as optimistic.
I don't know, nor have I heard anything about the drives.

All the boats than ran fri looked awesome....its amazing how fast Miccosukee and the DVC boats ran with stock power and the Scream Machine was impressive as well (those Joey Griffin engines just have kick ass sound to them).....it's too bad the cat killer didn't run....they had the boat on the water a few times on Saturday but I never saw it do much more than get on plane...according to the guard at the plant they worked on it almost all night so they definitely gave it a heck of an effort...maybe next time....I heard 2000-2200 hp per engine but from no one official

we heard the same from the guard about them working on it.
i read that the engines were capable of producing those numbers [a piece], but i hear they are run in the boat around 2200 to conserve the drives.

I'm hearing a little less than 2000...but hey, with that much hp...what's a couple of hundred plus or minus.
Whatever it is...that's a lot of hp from a 502 block.

I read from the same webpage it was a 540 block. But whatever way it is, 2000 horsies and a 500-somethin inch block, is STILL alot.
I figured they would have those tranny problems resolved. Especially since February...Maybe Mr. Solaroli should put some of that money he has financing those Porsche Spyders [from where i read, had $50 mil alotted] into some bulletproof trannys and outdrives, crank it up to 3000 and let the hammer drop.
