I agree maybe we should take up Golf .........
I have a son that had 9 stitches over eye and had concusion. (9 iron). golf safer he dosnt thank so. topfuel dragster 330 mph 8000hp (volitle fuel under pressure)less than 50 yards and a 3 foot wall. I take my chances with a 20' sea wall and 100+ mph boat any day.

I'm sure that would give a good rep to offshore racing. I agree with Waybomb fully. As for a car going past at 200, there is at least a fence and they are still at least 20 feet from the fence. Also it is a controlled environment. When do you see crap on the side of the track or waves? Also how often out of all the helicopter flights do you hear of them going down? Not very often. All I am trying to say is that I don't think that was the right thing to do.. It would be a cool if spectators were not involved.

I hear about a helicopter crash about as often as I hear about a boat flying over a 10 foot seawall
