Where Is The Best Viewing For Kw......

Best place to watch the Key West race is on the water. Email me for info. or go to the SBI website, find the patrol boat form, download it and email or fax it to me or the office.
I DO have all the turnboats for all the races that week, but we will need patrol boats and medical boats.
First 3 races is 4 weeks from this coming wednesday, Nov. 11TH
Thanks.....Pat

There is always a question re: pit space for the volunteer boats .......
we are expecting a lot of race boats this year, and because of work in the mole area and Truman Annex construction it seems the pit space gets smaller every year.
We wish we could accomodate room for volunteer boats but it's just not possible and also makes it hard at the ramp.

Racers, if you have friends coming with boats and will be signing up for patrol or med boats, please pass this info. to them and we will try to have info. for local ramp and marina locations.

Thanks so much for understanding.......

There is "no" street trailer parking in Key West and parking lots are too small. It's very hard to find a spot.

Maybe strike a dealio with the Public Marina at
Garrison?

It cost us $450 for a slip last year at Garrison

I know....Even the larger hotel lots are tight...it's a problem every year. Some of my volunteers from out of town have talked to the hotel they are staying at and make arrangements ahead of time, but that only helps the "on land" parking.

I will talk to JC about patrol boat parking and ramp possibilities.

Update.......
Just talked to JC and he suggested Safe Harbor or Oceanside marinas on Stock Island.
I will also look into the ramp areas around town.

Party info. isn't posted yet but I'll spill some beans.......
if you have a VIP ticket or are a racer/crew/family, (or some kind of official ID) the saturday night party sounds VERY interesting. Clue...WHO USED TO THROW THE BEST PARTY?

Not sure if they were the "Best", but the Hulks Deerfield Partys were certainly interesting

Yes they were, thank you Doug.

But I was referring to some of those past spectacular Key West parties out on the mole (and in NOLA)......
