Default WHM and Sundays start

Did WHM end up with a penalty from their start yesterday? Looked too close to call judging by the live feed. Just curious if a verdict had been rendered.

It looked like they should have been penalized from there start.
But what about the second start in the first race( Super Vee Light), the Snowy Mountain Boat was on the inside of the pace boat, and not even close to all the other boats, did they slap them with a penalty? .... problably would not have made a difference in there overal performance.

Doc was interviewed after that race. He insisted that he started on the side the drivers were told in the meeting that morning.. But you're right, wouldn't have really affected how they ran

Correct,...................... During the Sunday Drivers Meeting, it was outlined that all boats were to line up on the Port side of the pace boat. During the milling, another team asked race control for clarification, on how they were to line up, and the instructions given were to have the pace boat on our starboard side,

The instructions were clear, so we were the only race boat that lined up on the Port side of the pace boat, irrespective of where he was on the course.
It tended to change each day ,,,

+1 on doc doing as instructed - they discussed it on the live feed for the 3rd race and the Brewery boat was the only boat on the correct side.... of which the pace boat was on the wrong side of the course from which they were told to start on Sunday.

Regarding Sunday's first class races... were the commentator's correct in saying that the cats took the checkered flag a few laps early - as in the checkered flag remained up for all the boats to take when it should have been dropped to let the other class boats continue to finish their laps??

Not sure if I hear it 100% correctly

WHM was on the correct side, the Port side. At the start the entire fleet was on the starboard side of the pace boat and it came off plane, crossed behind all the boats that were on his starboard side (except WHM he was already on Port side) now putting the fleet on the pace boat Port side.

Right. But it looked like he may have jumped the start.. Didn't seem like the green flag was up and he was passing the pace boat.
