Default Wireless Trim In Wheel

I'm looking at wireless trim in the steering wheel for K-planes and drive up/down, I think a must for any sitdown boat. A 12 V transmitter in wheel hub will do it. About $379 new steering wheel and remote buttons on wheel spokes. What do you guys think ????

For what it's worth I have trim on the wheel {Not wireless} I liked it better on the throttles. My hand never seems to be in the right place {3 spokes} when i need it...

Birdog, it's not so much the drive trim ( on throttle ) but more the trim tab's switches are in an so/so spot ( hard to reach ). What do you Y2K guys think ???

Gary, I know you've always said you didn't care for the location of the K-plane switches. I concure with birddog with the switches on the steering wheel never being in a set location. My steering wheel isnt always in the same place with the hydrolic set up, thats why I went with the 3 evenly spaced spokes on mine. I can only amagine having to try to figure out left and right switches when the steering wheel not centered

Gary, I'm sure your K-plane switches are in the same place as mine ???? You don't feel in an a aggressive driving situation it is awkward to get to the switches ????

Gary, I was looking at a set up where the trim was in the throttle then another billet piece went on the throttle for the k-plane switches... pute the switches in front of the throttle lever so when you rest your hand on top the switches are at your finger tips. Think Livorsi makes them, I'll try and get the part number if it helps.

Gary,
With the hydraulic steering, The wheel is always in different places. While driving, one second the switches are on the left, next their on the right, then on the top, then on the bottom. Know what I'm saying ? My buddy has them on his allison ( 21' ) with cable steering. works great with them. Wheel is always in the same spot.

Rick
