Yeah!!! John at least yours is turn key...Im thinking of putting a Shelby built all aluminum 427 in it. Silly expensive though...The 390 block looks the same as the 428 and I could build a hellova motor with it. Im weighing my options...;

I Am A Mustang Nut. Had A 66/67/68/69/70/71. My Favorite Was The 67 Gt Fastback 4 Spd With The 428scj. What An Animal. You Do Know The Original Big Block Cars Had Different Shock Towers Then The Small Blocks. Sold It Back In I Guess 1984 For $8000. Whats It Worth Today. Had The Aluminam Dash And Factory Roll Bar.i Thought About Getting Back Into The Body Business For A Project But Then The Zuperboat Would Never See The Water.

We got a 66' GTO. It has the 400 in it now, but the tri carb is on its way.

I wish I had more play time for the boat the Harley and now the Mustang , but then I'd couldn't afford any of them

Did you see the Black 67 GT with the 428CJ sell for 475,000 on B-J. I think it was billed as the Fastest Mustag was called I believe the HEMI HUNTER.. Oh yeah, the Chevelle 454 LS1 selling for 1,100,000 and the other for 2,000,000

My 67 Was Black. I Went To Ford With The Vin And They Told Me What It Came With When And Where It Was Built. Left The Factory Blue Gold Stripes And Had A 390.
