There's no doubt a set of AFR's like mine would wake up his motor. He would have to swap cams and spin it to 6000rpm to reap the benefits. But then there's that EFI programing problem again.

Turn up the boost or swap the cam and spin more rpm, yes!
Got to find someone to crack the code or pay lots of $$ for the 700 computer...

For what you save in gas with efi, you blow in computor software and harware. Just bolt on a Demon 1150 and go. One thing I hate is being held captive by a fricking computor and the people who built it.

Well I guess I agree to a point, but Carbs are old news...

An EFI system that any number of builders/programmers can customize is a nice happy medium.
Like the GM MFEI computer controlled fuel injection systems of the past 15 years...

I'm just old school, kinda like most of drag racing. Most still run carbs. The debate could go on forever and does on performance auto sites. Most will agree that a carb will win most drag races if compared to the same set up side by side. But then again we're not on the pavement. I'm stubborn and need the capability to change tuning if I want a cam change or heads ect..
I see in Summit Racing catalog they have bolt on efi that a pc can program at home. That's cool.
Check this out. 1700HP ww.jonkaaseracingengines.com/products-815gmhemi.php There ya go Superbabi!

Faster,
My recent experiences are much more mainstream when it comes to adding a few more ponies to an existing mill.
I first modified my 310HP/7.4MPI to make 375HP and next I will modify my 415HP/502MagMPI to make 500HP. Both upgrades have been done by others and in the case of the 500HP, it was also a standard product...
Now to up the anti on your 800+HP engine, it will no doubt be easier with a Carb...
And, if the Merc 600 had a Carb sitting on top of that 3.3L supercharger, I'm quite sure Superbabi would already have a new pulley to turn up the boost...
