Gary,
If you want your babi to run 100mph you will need about 900HP, right?
Your 502 block can be rebuild with a stroker kit to make it a 540cube. Then bolt that Whipple back on with a larger inter-cooler and a pulley set to crank up the boost. If none cracks the code on the existing computer, you need a new ignition and ECU combo. The GM MEFI 4 is the system a lot of builders are using these days. 900HP is vary much within reach with a supercharged 540...
As for the out-drive, check out the B-max (Bravo Shop)...
It's only $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

unless you use a merlin or dart block it will never last. GM rates there 502 for 750 tops!!

Good point, the cast main caps will not hold up to 900HP.
What if you rework the block for steel mains with splade bolts?
Are we sure the 600 is not build on a bow-tie block?
If not, I guess a new short block is in order then...
More $$$$$$... That's OK we're spending Gary's money...
