24' Stepbottom Hatch Actuator Info
Hey all you 24' Stepbottom guys! I need to know what the dimensions are for the hatch actuator on the 24' stepbottom. The boat I am buying has a broken one and I want to get a new one on the way ASAP.
Can anybody take some quick measurements for me? I need closed length, open length and stroke. I'm assuming that all dimensions will be from center to center of the mounting pin.
I called John and he said he thinks it should be a Lenco lift, but he stopped using them because they break. I may look into a nicer one. He didn't say anytung about the dimensions.
Thanks!!

Thanks for the bump RLW! No help from the Superboat boys for me!
The owner of the boat did get me some measurements though, so I am good to go now!
Now all I have to do is pick the boat up! Still waiting on the seller's title.

I have a electric hatch actuator in my 1997 non-step 24'.
I believe it is mounted on the opposite side (port).
I'd be happy to measure it if you'd like...

Thanks for the offer Pat, but I did get some. I think I'm going to order the actuator tomorrow to get it here for next week. It should work out ok.
Thanks though!

Jayhawk,
If you need a new Lenco actuator, let me know. Seacoast still carries them.

How much? I still haven't ordered one yet. All the Lencos I have looked at are pretty expensive.
Let me know!
Thanks Rick!

Re: 24' Stepbottom Hatch Actuator Info
My Lenco pretty much died on me too. I measured 30.5" full closed, and 48" full open. Eddie Marine has a similar size (24" Stroke) for $279. Plus the hardware kit is another $100.
Right now I'm using a 39 cent piece of 2x2!
