Yes, the black hull is still available. HAd 2 guys look at her in the last month. Neither has pulled the trigger yet. So it's still for sale. Coen was having a sale on it around Christmas time. Nicely reduced price. You should have looked at it then, coul've saved a few grand. Give John a call at 631-226-1761 and talk to him. Who knows... he might still do the Christmas sale price. Tell him Rick sent ya.

Rick how long do you think to finish the black and white hull.I would be interested in buying the complete hull with cockpit interior,complete dash rigging,my shop would rig engine,gimbal,steering,k-planes,etc.

I can have it completely assembled in less then 2 weeks. John can also have the dash done in that time. But the upholstry will take some time. I don't know the turnaround on the upholstry. Call Coen, I'm sure John can answer that for you.

Whats this I hear all boats in CA have to be equipped with catalic converters now and the EPA may implement it for the entire US ? How would a Y2k look with Cat Converter ?

OK, back to the build. The bulkheads are all in, and so is the fuel tank. The deck was flipped today, and tomorrow Coen will start rigging the deck.

Pat I did see the new bottom during the early stages in person back in June when I went out to see Rick and John, one word..........AWESOME !!!!! The Superboat Y2K is and always will be the best single in the market, in part thanks to Rick for all the time and effort put into every Superboat build as if was his own boat !!!!!! I can't wait to see this new bottom RIP THE WATER UP !!!!!!
