Sorry Rick, I spoke with JC today, it's not likely to happen...

Our conversation went just fine...
I simply can not afford a Y2K at the price JC quoted me...

It seems like the $60k Y2K doesn't really exist anymore. The initial price on the boat is low, but the upgrades add up REAL quick if I remember my conversations with JC correctly.

Pat best of luck on what ever choice you make on a boat decision, I hope its a Y2K !!!! I must say I think it is very tacky that another boat builder trys to sell there boat on another brands site............as I said TACKY.

Well the web sight says 62k but I think you'd end up well over 70k for the most basic model complete and ready for the water.

I was asking for a hull with interior and was a bit surprised by the $$ JC was talking.

The Superboat web page needs some updating, believe me.

The list of the Y2K, is 45K for the hull. (Thats what Dave paid for a his hull) Thats the bare bones. Oil prices dictate our prices. Just because a hull is stock, doesn't mean it can be had at an an insane price.. The price is the price. Coens like that. Maybe if you go under the table and do the naughty. LOL
Each year you wait, the price will keep going up Pat.

I didn't realize I was on Superboats forum , that is tacky. I just went to new posts and thought it was in GD. I'll delete it in a sec.

Thanks Gary.
A Y2k is not likely going to be our next boat but we're going to be back on the water in something I'm sure will be a nice upgrade from our last boat.
As for Joker be "Tacky" you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
I’m going to say this about Brian from Joker, he has been a whole lot more supportive of me than the owner of Superboat or any employee of Superboat for that matter. Sure he is trying to sell boats, but during the numerous e-mails and phone conversations we have had, he has not ever been pushy. I have not met Brian in person nor have I visited his factory, but I have spoken to a number of people that have. Joke is an up and coming manufacturer with a real good product…
