Then when I pull it off, it leaves a glue/sticky like material (especially on the bow) that takes me 20 minutes to wash off. I tried washing the underside, etc and it still happens. For start of this season, I actually cut the shrink wrap off so that the part from the windshield forward I can still lay down, then lay the canvas on top of it to not get the glue on the boat I have to pull the shrink wrap from the canvas each time I open it up

Did you have anything like that with the one you purchased? How did you find overall quality

Thanks

EA
A vent like this might help

I had a Sharkskin cover for my last boat and it was great. Lightweight and really keeps the water out. I put a vent on mine and never had any condensation or mildew issues. I also bought that "quick stick" pole. You slide it in from th outside so you don't have to try to climb under the cover.

You have to select the second option, then select boat type, and length. They don't have a cover for a 7' beam that long. The one I ordered is for up to 96".

I finally got my boat back at the house and put my new cover on. The fit is pretty good for a non custom cover. We got 6" of rain last weekend and there was not a drop of water inside the boat!

Cover looks great !! You have to fill the hole in the transom from the speedo. Any by the way awsome yard. The pool looks big enough for test runs for the boat.

Thanks, I fillled the holes but didn't get them gell coated yet. I don't know how much I will be using the boat now that I have the pool. I could of bought a NEW Y2K with the coin I dropped on the pool! My wife wasn't ON-BOARD with that plan though!

Is the chlorine better or worse for your engine than salt?

Cover looks great Dave. Is that the Sharkskin you were talking about?
