thanks zuperboat!! i guess i dont get out much.. where's bergan? hmmmm
also, i tried a 22P chopper prop today for about an hour... horrible out of the hole compared to the trophy, but a very very different feeling in the mids and up top... and it certainly threw alot more water in the air compared to a trophy... everytime i looked behind me i was like holy crap!! i got that fugger trimmed too high!?!? but it was lower than i ever had my trophies set at... and water pressure was always 8-10psi, so i guess i dind't have that 3-blade chopper trimmed to much, they just naturally throw alot more water than a 4 blade trophy i guess
speeds were unchanged.. still low 60s, and still against the rev limiter and pinned at 6000 rpms with the 22P chopper compared to the 21 trophy... also wans't an accurate test as i topped off the oil tank and fuel tank before the ride whereas previously i was running 1/3 tank on the trophy prop
supposed to be getting a 24 pitched prop from a friend to try out next after i give this chopper back... we'll see what that does.
still kind of insecure about how much i'm supposed to jack it up and trim it out.. but the boat feels secure, i feel in control, and i never feel nervous at all thus far with my experimentation to this point.... that either means i'm doing OK, or i'm not pushing it to its limits enough and i have more to go?
well i guess next step is.. i need more prop!!

Bergan point is in babylon by the golf course. Theirs a good gas dock, franks waterside cafe, In in that area. From the bay you notice a big building that the treatment plant. Make a left around it down the big canal and Im the second right. I have the only superboat on that canal.
Now for props someone did mention SUPERBASH and hes the man with the nicest 24 around. Hes tried it all.he can tell you what works. Testing can be fun but if you want to end it and get rite to the finish you need to find him. Hes spend most of his time I think nowadays over at screamandfly. Enjoy the boat. The weather has been pretty crappy so its almost over for me this year.
