Superboat Summer Tally.
We ended the 2008 season with 63 hours, 901 gallons of 93 octane, and a $3903.00 gas bill. What did you guys end up with ???

With a cruise speed between 60-70 mph, thats 4-5 miles per gallon, not bad for an 800 hp.

I started the year with 155hrs and closed yesterday at 163. I dont fill the tank , i like to run it on 1/4 to 1/2 for testing. so in 8 hrs of testing there was 2 beach runs 2 gilgo runs and the saturday the toddy was canceled. Used probably 90 gallons for the year. I did have the cabin cruiser and for sure used that more. Glad that distraction was sold now I can get back to working on the ZUPERBOAT !! Yesterdays numbers where 99.8 . Weather was beautiful but water was flat.
