SUPERBOAT 30 BLACK THUNDER 46EC 60ft BLUEWATER
|
Superboaters
Any older Superboaters remember this 30. I bought it and restored it in 1993. Any history would be great.
Thanks Bobby

Im not sure I never dynoed them. They have massive torque. I keep the boost about 12 PSI but have bumped it to 18 PSI. The HP is im guessing 500 to 600 on pump gas. Built the motors in 96 and havent had any major problems yet. I have been lucky. We have at least a 1000 hours on the motors. But Im easy on the sticksmost of the time. We have realy enjoyed the old girl. She was an old race boat when new. Im looking for pics when she was new and racing
thanks Bobby

TRS. Boats a 1982 the x is low. Talked to John in 93 when I bought boat in boxes. He said they notched the transom to raise the drives. Boat runs good for an old boat. When did John start building the Tempest. Pic of my little stable.
Thanks Bobby

I know who owned and raced the boat. I can picture the face but the name escapes me now. He raced skaters after the superboat. Tripps knows.
