Rick if you could get the tunnel in the hull I'll build the engine hatch . I'll make a little sun pad with a scaled down scoop on it . If the motor sits 10" over the rail that's still 14" lower then that 90 merc is going to set .
Come on Rick , give me the go ahead and I'll call Coen .. I found a deal on the Jet new in a box and I have a set of mufflers with the through hull and flappers already that I'll send you .
Here's a boat with the tunnel in it for the Sport Jet and a couple of options for engine covers .

I talked to Coen again today. "How come they call you instead of calling me!!"
As Coen said Joe, give him a call and discuss the boat.
Coen also told me that Mercury sold the tunnel in fiberglass and aluminum. That would be a big plus and money saver, since I wouldn't have to mock one up.

OKayyyyy, I guess I'll do it.
BTW, the engine cover in the pic is around 3" taller then the deck. It will be around a foot taller then the deck. Nice drawing though.

$hit ! I tell people I never lie but if that is only 3" I might have told a couple over the years !

I'm undecided on the hatch still . Either we'll see if it can double as the seat or I'll put a little pro stock style scoop on it .
