No thread for the 525SC.
Here's a couple of pictures from 5 years ago.
Gregg paid $6500 for this rebuilt 525 back then. He lost the cam this past summer so it's time to rebuild again.
The other engine is the 502 stocker I have in my boat now.
I did have a thread here in the Superboat forum when I built it for my 24.

Hey Pat, what's this cam to get a base GM crate engine to 500 hp? I'm looking at a boat this weekend that has a pair of new crate 502s (the 415 hp variety) and it would be great if you could add a bunch more power simply. Would you mind going into the details of the full setup?

Just trying to back up my opinion of the most cost effective way to get into one of the Y2Ks on the market.
If it were me, I'd beat on Gary for a good deal for Superbabi, then build a 500HP/489cube stroker EFI from the 1999 Volvo 7.4GL I have sitting in my basement. I've got the AZ Speed Intake, 500EFI valve train and...ready to go.

They both have kits.
Precision Marine has the program for the ECU.
Call Mark at 504 469 7463.
Upgrading the 415HP/502MagMPI to at 500HP is a piece of cake for most engine builders.
If you have a carb engine, Crane 731 is the most common cam upgrade for a 500/502.
