For $15k? That's a tough one. My Pantera is a '95, and I wouldn't even dream of selling it anywhere near that number. Maybe you'll find one, but it'll most likely need some work. If ya can come up with another $8k, come get mine.

Thanks Guys that 24 in long island does not sound bad but, the trailer fenders are beat to hell, I wonder what kind of condition the interior is in, and hrs on motor?
Lastly what do you guys think she would cruise at, and WOT? with a 350/315 hp (I wish it had some real tabs too)

WTF I just realized the guy never put in his phone number & I am unable to email him threw craigslist FML

small block power in a SB24? You'll be looking to sell that after one years use. You would be way better off with a single 3L OB versus a SBC. Plus the SB24 will need tabs.

Fenders are a cheap fix...pick some up when you go to pick them up and bolt them on. 425hp in that hull will do 78 so I am thinking 300-315 will get you in the low to mid 60's

Jim H had a 24 w/350 Mag MPI (300HP) and he said he ran 68 mph. You could still out run a lot of the competition in that class. That said, I'd still rather have a BBC boat.

I would hold out for a better equiped boat. BBC, K-planes, and steering for starters.

When I started this post I wanted a 90's SB 24' bb for around 15k. That long island is nice but lacks a bb & tabs plus they guy is firm on 19k he says there is a little room in the price but not much. So I am going to be patient, and wait

Thanks for all the input out there
