My 32 Activator with SSM#6 went close to 100mph with the 930hp JC engine.
So I think A 30 Y2K would be a rocket with 1200.

But you guys know's your boats better than I do

I have now a 1100hp in my boat but have not pulled her to the limit yet
"my" boat..... I had a deposit on it yesterday......

Some hulls just run out of speed no matter how much power you add. What kind of number are you looking to spend on a boat without a motor ? I know a 30 that ran 99 with a 750 !

30-60 for a good hull, but is the SuperBoat the one? I spend 90% of my time on a river....I want a v bottem that can run 110-120 so is it a SuperBoat, Activator or Howard Bullet.

I think a Y2K can easily do 110 with 1200hp . Problem your gonna have is finding an outdrive that will handle a 1200hp single . My Konrad went bang and I don't know if it had a defect or if the 800 hp killed it .
There are a number of surface drives that handle 1200hp ie X Power and a number 6 but there is a question weather a surface drive works well on singles .
The Activators blew Bravo's , X's , XR with Imco's like they were plastic .
Go 24' Superboat and the upgraded Bravo with 1200hp as long as your not whole shoting .

Get a cat for those speeds. Simply put. Y2K is a great boat, ive lost a lot of races to them. 110+ plus in a single engine vee bottom is stupid and dangerous.

100% correct on that one ! I know how my boat feels at 95 ! I would like To see triple digits 100-101 range but I have no interest in going 110-115 .
