You have a little more HP then me . Dave Dynoed the motor when he originally built it at 800. The only changes I've made was the Holley HP fuel pump and HP carb but it's BLACK and looks REALLY COOL so hopefully its making 800 still but I didn't Dyno it .
Your bottom is also blue printed mine is not . I've been faster then that pic I posted but I'll show everyone later .
My goal is to have the fastest N/A Y2k .
The older twin turbo Y2K ran 105 before he disappeared and I was told Donnie ran 104 in the Reinforcer 900HP N/A (NO PROOF YET) .
I would think with your hull and 850hp you'll run around 106-108 .

Get on it , as fast as you got it painted I figured you would be in the water by now . Are you putting the original seats back in the boat ? If not I just popped a set of ours out of the mold ....

That"s movin Joe great job, boat looks awesome to boot. I feel ya on having to pull out of the throttles, still playing with props on my boat. What did you think of the ride at that speed curious of your thoughts, be safe and enjoy the ride.

Thanks Pat . Bob I've learned a little trick about the Y2k That makes my wife and any other passengers a lot happier . When it gets over the 92/94 mark it starts to chime walk a little . It's done it since I've owned it and It's never bothered me but freaks everyone out . So what I learned is It scrubs speed so now when it starts to walk I pull the trim down a little . The boat levels out then I can carry the trim to where it reaches maximum speed . flies level after the initial walk . Your hull is different then mine and probably has different characteristics . One thing that I'm sure all the Y2K's have in common is if it's flat out you might as well find something else to do that day because your gonna come up 5 to 10 miles short of your top speed .
And I'm gonna wear my prop shaft and lower unit threads out at the rate I've been changing props and spacers .
Don't know what I'm gonna do when I finally hit the sweet spot that I know is still out there .

Hello all my Superboat family . Im considering selling the Y2K and wanted some opinions . Should I sell it turn key or minus power and drive . The motor and drive has just been freshened up and the boat runs a consistent 107 on chop now . I really don't think most buyers would want to run 100 plus but I don't know . What do y'all think ?

People have no idea of the time and money involved to get a boat over 100. You can drop 10k and get 3 mph. There’s a white Y2K for sale by me with out power for I think 40-45

I still love my boat and wouldn't even be considering selling it but I've got an opportunity to buy a boat that I've been dreaming about for years that has a pair of 1000's in it and runs 140 plus . Might have to find me a 16' cc just to stay in the family lol
