Default Proud new owner of a 1989 Superheat Tempest

Somebody pinch me! There's been Superboat here locally for probably 20 years that I've always loved and when it went up for sale a number of years ago, I wasn't in position to get it. On a whim in the spring of this year, I just started asking around what happened to it and in the last month or so, tracked down the current owner's number and asked if he would be interested in selling it. Long story short, we're now the very very happy owners of a 1989 30' Superboat Tempest!

Bought it yesterday and he wants to clean it up and make it ready for travel so Tuesday we pick it up. The pictures are not great but gives you an idea

Nice find. I'm an outboard fan so that makes it all the nicer in my eyes, not many around.
Good luck to you sir!

Thanks so very much. I have a lot to learn on it but the boat seems to be in really good condition. Just needs some TLC. Can't wait till Tuesday so we can bring it home

Looks like an awesome boat. Love the twin fridges hanging out back there!

Thanks everyone. I pick it up today and didn't sleep a wink last night. I have found a number of pictures of it over the years up here as well as some video
