Spread apart rollers would be fun. I was out in one right after another 8 ft.er's & was "scary fun". PIC of GASTICKS 24(this is his thread) I had SAVED.
Pat, did you research the Stainless Marine mech. indic. at all? Can you "order direct"? I see they aren't cheap $400 all approx.?

Dutra,
Hell, I went to B.I. in my 18' Donzi. Just got to catch it right day.
Went three times in the Superboat last year...
Approx. 35 miles from Saybrook, 45 from my home port in Chester.

Bash,
The 1 drive, 2 tab setup is about $800 from either Gafrig or Stainless...

Default Glad to be running, but I aint goin nowhere...

Ah ha... thats sweet!...It would take me an hour and change ,probaby more just to get to Saybrook. ..Someday. I just cant wait to get out anywhere right now...

Bash- so you replaced the 3/8 with 3/4 what did you use for the lip and jambs, the 3/8/ stuff?
The stainless latch isnt that great either it will always become undone unless you clip it. I use a mountain climbing hook (blue aluminum of course)

The water that day was nuts, My friend in his 28 pantera came up and out and landed the boat on its side..His face got all busted up ...DNF for them!

Sean,
We have a Sunday/Monday boys only trip to B.I. planned for Aug. 29.
Trailer to Chester or Saybrook and join the fun.
Last year 5 boats went...
