Sorry for the highjacking.....back to Jammin's speed figures.
Help yourself. It's just nice to hear a little Sutphen talk.

ex exp needs a full refit. only concern would be cost of re-rig vs value at the end of the deal. it would really be a labor of love with no hope of any ROI...you'll need cash, financing would be way-out...about 40k and a trailer to make her a contender..45-50 said and done?
wade? any ideas?
i believe toasty's boat was a good deal, needing little to get going, and small blocks are a realistic, manageable expense...
dave had a value a while ago...30 w drivetrain, needed interior and BBC's....on a trailer for less than ex exp...

What deal was my boat?!?! I never put a # on it. unless you are typing of the deal i made to buy it? Plus noone wants my junk now anyway...It runs and is together! the boat is a total sleeper murdering 35 and 38 cigarettes, powerplays, sonics all day! and have spare everything...expect a unstable 96+ with the way it is set up now, but its fun in 3-4 foot chop

As some of you know I own a very special Sutphen.

I've had it for 3 years, I'm the second owner, and put about 75 hrs. on her.

It's all original gelcoat & interior & looks great.

Engines, drives, and trans are not original.

With the big engines it ran 94 mph. "B&G engines" About 550 hp..Gary Hartman in Point Pleasant built them.

It's still set up the same way it won the 2004 P-5 National Championship. It's a great piece & a blast to run.

For the $ you guys are talking about I would sell you mine. It's a 1988 & turn key ready to Race or poker run.

3 man bolster setup with the back seat option, if you choose just to cruise with the family.

Spare engine included.
