Thanks for the positive comments!
Boat runs great. that new steering is night and day from the OEM power steering. and alot cleaner looking. It is a pig out of the hole, but once on a plane it is a rocket. I am running a 21P merc mirage plus with the plugs out. I am going to drill some more holes and see if it helps. The consensus is the prop isnt ventilating enough.
With 5 people, a dog, and 3/4 fuel, I hit 57mph at 5500 RPM, and it was still climbing. 2-3' seas.
I am also trouble shooting a surge at 3400rpm. might be upgrading to a holley fuel pump soon.
I wish, i have to go back to work on sunday. I missed the Lauderdale show by this same time frame.
