I spoke to the owner about it he seemed like a very nice guy, He said to me that he lost his wife suddenly and lost interest in the boat.

I think this is the same boat that was at Ocean Performance a number of years back. If so I looked it over pretty good. There was a salesman named Todd who told me what he knew about it and he had personally driven in in a storm. Said it ran the water unbelievable and he had it over 90. If it is the same boat, it is sweet.

OP huh I never saw it there but I was out of boating for quite a few years while doing the drag racing thing and the red 30 was apart.

Seems to me to be a pretty good deal on a nice newer boat.

The boat is also on ebay with a starting bid of $35,000 and no reserve. I have been emailing the owner and offered him the $35,000 starting bid. He says he wants $45,000 and I would have to pay for his time to drop in, fuel and ramp charges to test drive the boat if I came all the way from the midwest with a certified check in hand. If I bid and am the only bidder and get the boat for $35,000 or even less than his $45,000 price, I don't get a test drive it's as it sits. Considering I am a buyer with no boat to sell and funds available I would anticipate better treatment. I've never been able to charge people to test drive my powerboats when I sold them. I guess I'll be moving on to other sellers.
