Fresh water only,have access to start to hear it run,2001 Mercury Racing 540 CID tall deck, 165hrs total. 65hrs w/Polished Procharger M-3SC,AW-504Intercooler,MSD Ignition System(coil,ignition control,distributor,wires & soft touch rev. limiter) Aeromotive high performance Electric fuel pump & pressure regulator & fuel filter, carburetor modified by Nickerson for superchargered operation,runs flawless, have original bill of sale and owners manuals, complete drop in, includes exhaust. $13,900 OBO

Here is a link I got from doing a google search. Scroll down and it has some info on the 500 bulldog. It is a factory Mercury Racing Engine that has not been touched other than the procharger and a good set of head gaskets. It was built by Mercury Racing for people that had intentions of adding a blower,supercharger, ect. This motor was about a 15k up grade from the 500hp, which was a 502. This engine is a 540cid. This info says 1999 but the spec are the same for the
2001.

Runs flawless with no issues ever. Engine can be tested and started.
