OK, this is to all of the Merc Engine "EXPERTS" out there. I have 502 MPIs w/ 500 efi cams and stainless marine exhaust. Would the 575 stock computers work with these superchargers and my set up without reprograming (already have inconel exh valves)?
Thanks.

He has all the wiring and computers, remove all of your stuff and install all the blower stuff and wiring..
my concern would be your camshafts, most blower cams have a lower lift and a 116 deg lode center then your compared to your 500 efi cans but you could swap them out for blower cams. another thing, blower motors need fuel pressure to live, i would suggest in up grading to a aeromotive style fuel pumps.. if you plan on turning up the boost all mercruiser engines have 2 keyways in the crank shaft and 2 slots in the harmonic ballancer to handle the xtra load so you dont spin the harmonic ballancer on the crank..
this setup requires a serpitine belt set up.

You can use these with 500 EFI cams. You will need to use the computers with the 575 SCI's & program the computers to your set up. Mark at Precision Marine can do the work for you. I talked to him about using these on my 500EFI's and still may use them. The only problem I had was it won't clear my hatch so I need to modify my hatch, which I am not found of. Let me know if you still have an intrest.

You will not need to upgrade the fuel with these blowers. You would only want to run 4-5 pounds of boost to keep things safe. This is not the set up to try to run 7-10 pounds of boost on a 502. You will not have to double key the crank for this blower. All suggestions you gave are good for larger applications and I would do them if I were installing a 10-71 style blower.
