Rattle Jake. I reread your post and still not sure what your point is ....

Are you saying by investing 17,500 into each of your carbed hp 500 engines you would have a better package than what is for sale? I hope so --- but you are not comparing apples to apples at that point, because for that you could build 700 efi's

In the same way that you cannot compare 525 efi engines to your older less advanced. hp 500's -- nothing against 500's just not comparable

Btw these 525's that are for sale were driven by a little old lady to church the odd Sunday
No really I think a little old lady ran harder than the captain of the boat these were in!

There I have what?? the fact that you are saying the cost of your motors plus 17,500 ea--- Or are you saying that your motors are worthless?

In the market to buy 1 preferably with no exhaust , bell housing as I run a transmission and SM dry exhaust also don't need the Latham unit
