there is a 99 for sale at 70k for a while... last 99 i know that sold moved at 60k in 2011. 97 they have the black dash... so, let's says this 97 sell for 5 or 10 k less than this 99.
50k - engines rebuild 15 if lucky 22k if less lucky... i would think I'd pay over 30...
and I'm not sure I would...
just a quick thought...

This boat has the updated grey dash as it is a Fastec Model with stepped hull and I had the dash professionally painted silver by a local custom painter (major experience painting large v-bottoms and cats) to duplicate the colors currently used. I also updated the dash panel with platinum gafrigg gauges, blue bezels, etc. My thought with not re-building the engines is that I'm not an engine builder and there are no nationally known marine engine experts in central florida (IMHO), so I thought any potential buyers could do the engines themselves, put new ones in or have an engine builder they are comfortable with re-build the originals. Also, I also put a lot of effort re-rigging the bilge, Formula does lack a little with rigging, fine for production boating at the time it was built, but probably not up to par with current years. I also replaced all the wood in the back seat, engine cover, coming sections, etc. in the cockpit and cabin. The only wood left is in the stringers, transom and McCloud bolters. Whoever get's this boat, will be getting a solid and clean boat. Wish I could sell it for less, but I haven't heard of banks honoring "short sales" for boats these days.
