Arrow 2 used Whipple 3.3 Compressors and new snouts

2005 w/ 314 hours on them,They were running fine and making boost on both ,one had slack in it like bearing or gear,So I sent in both just for the hell of it.Whipple tore them apart and determined he couldn't rebuild them. That a pin on the drive snout broke and a bolt had backed out snapped off wearing the front bearing plate. The other one didn't. So I just bought new ones so both would be all new and matching. There are 2 people out there rebuilding Whipples/superchargers,I sent all the picks to one and he said they it looks like he can rebuild them, head units are repairable if I can get the broken bolt out of the rotor.or at least make one and use the parts out of the other. He is going by only the picks I sent him that Whipple took,he said he would buy them if I didn't sell them here first.I'm going to send him the compressors and he will determine a price to rebuild or just buy them out right from me.That way we have a 3rd party inspection and price quote to rebuild them.I am no expert and don't know some of the terminology of the guts. I'm being up front with you all,and am disclosing everything . When I looked at them I could see the scaring on the front plate, the Allen head bolt that backed out and broke off,To the rotors don't look bad,the cases has no wear at all that I can see. The inside still has all the machining grooves in it,there's no wear showing like if a rotor touch the case. There are little marks on the rotor where it touched just on the end , it wore the coating off but you can still see the machining marks form when it was new.My new Whipple's I just bought has more wear/clearancing marks than my old ones do now.

This is for the compressors only. This is not a kit

I have also 2 new 2013 Snouts for this I bought before we tore them down. I'm going to try and sell them here or Whipple said they would take them back.

2 Whipple Compressors $1000.00 each asis. plus shipping usa only no paypal

2 new whipple snouts $250.00 each

I have all the picks and new picks I took.I can take more if you want before I send them out. I had emailed the rebuilder all the picks from whipple in Jan this year, So ive been sitting on them. I have talked to the rebuilder today. I told him that I would try here first maybe getting more for them to re coop some of what I spent on the New ones.He has offered alitlle less that im asking from just going by the picks. He understood as I know he has to rebuild them and be-able to make money himself. He mentioned to please don't snow ball him with phone calls,So please don't waist his time as he has not seen them in person,

I was told that the 2 broke off bolts will have to be removed, replace the broke pins,1 front bearing plate welded up and re machined flat, and bearings, retime the rotors,

I have the data out of my computers that show all the seconds, minutes at what rpm.almost 200 hours below 1000rpm
Thanks for looking
Im not on here as much, may be slow to reply

This is a picture of the NEW one, As you can see it has a coating on the rotors that make the blower seal up better,it does as they said the new one are more efficient and make more boost, They do as I had to turn them down, so im spinning the new blowers slower.Would of been interesting to of seen what they would of made on the dyno!! I know With over 1 psi more boost I could feel it in acceleration

As you can see the new rotors have some of the coating wore off /clearanced also.

I got some better picks

These blowers were runing fine, one had a little slack and that ended up the broke stud, they both were still making 8.5 pds of boost,Also 104 hours we dynoed these motors and it had the same boost,so what you see on the rotor did not efect boost at all.

#1 compressor

lobe 1 wear, as you can see it still has the cnc maching grooves on the lobe, anodozing/coating wore
lobe 2
lobe 3
end shafts look like no wear

lobe end shaft that has the allen heads is the one that the bolt backed out from no loctite, see next picks

the broke off bolt is the main thing therer talking about trying to get it out,I would think it would be that bad,or even us a edm,
