yes corrosion. boat was leaking on the port side...not knowing the cause I purchased 2 brand new transom assembly's. one thing I was concerned about was a wet transom. tore it apart....bone dry. A member on this site performed all the work (lil red). He can vouch for the condition of the hull/transom.

The transoms aren't wood anyways.

Seen this boat in person. It's in good condition

Correct...as I understand it, the transom is wood and the rest is honeycomb composite.

I've got a poor attention span, get easily distracted, and sometimes have difficulty with info retention. You know all this !!!There's a medical term for it which is far over used. So I prefer to call it being a bit of a dumb a$$.
Wood or no wood. .... nice boat
