Gen 5 454 .030 over
Trw 2399 pistons
Speed pro rings
King allecular bearings
7/16 rods
Just the short block no pan no heads no cam or lifters.
Hot idle oil pressure dropped and found metal in the filter.
Figure it spun a main. Had 10 hours on refresh, 75-100 hours pistons, rods and crank total.
$400 plus shipping.

Haven't torn it down yet, but considering i found bearing material in the filter and it wasn't making any noises I'm guessing it spun a main which means the crank will need to be turned and the block line honed.

may be interested . I want to build an engine starting with a forged crank. has the crank been turned before . what crank is it?

Has not been turned previously. It is a gm 1 PC rear main forged crank, 4" stroke.
