188 Heads 26 Hours since rebuild
188 heads 26 hours of use since rebuild.
New valve seats
2 new valves
New valve guides
Valve job
Valves cut
Pressure Tested
I have the receipt for the work posted which does not include the new guides or pressure test, that was round two. I had them replaced after I found out one of them was leaking water. Made the mistake of being penny wise and a pound foolish on not pressure testing.
Either way when it was all said and done I had close to $900 just in machine work.
Here is the price break down.
Heads bare with Valves -$700.00
With retainers and locks- +$90 (Isky 200-ST/10 New $95.00, Isky VL10 Locks New $70)
With Springs +$150 (Isky 8005 SP)
When your looking at some old heads with 300 hours on them for $500 look again at the machine shop bill. These fully loaded will cost what I have just in machine work, not including any parts.
