Default 525 sc

Gauging interest on selling my 525 sc...it has 520 hours on it all stock with a chiller...it will have no accessories on it and I will be keeping the exhaust and ignition...so it will be the long block, blower, chiller, and blower pulleys with belt, and 1050 dominator carb...10500?? price may be negotiable

pics/videos can be sent via text or email

thanks

also anyone looking at this...if I'm honestly way off on my price please let me know...saw a fully one dressed with the same hours sold on another forum a couple years ago for 12,500 so I figured 2 grand less for accessories and ignition is fair...I could probably come up with a distributer if need be....

engine is a 1997 btw lol

You the original owner? Also hours since last rebuild or is it a virgin. 400-500 trouble free hours pretty good but probably due for tear down and rebuild including the blower. Lot of variables but someone would probably be looking at near 3k plus or minus for refresh/rebuild.

i hate to be the one to say it but I think your pretty high on the price. I only say that cause you asked. good luck though.

I'm glad you did say something because I have no idea lol....I'm the third owner...1st was an old man lots of idle time to half throttle 2nd was a family man with kids that didn't run it incredibly hard but I agree it could probably be freshened up soon...this is my first performance boat so I ran her kinda hard for the last 20 of those hours and I changed the oil when I bought it in the motor and blower and it hasn't used a drop...so what's it worth in your opinion honestly??

IMO, you are WAY high on asking price.
For reference, there is one with 140hrs on FB Powerboat swap shop for $8500 complete.

Ok thanks for the heads up...that seems like a good deal so I guess I could drop my asking to 8000...much less than that I might as well keep it for another project really....idk open to offers anyway if anyone is interested

thanks!!

For reference Audiofn had a pair with zero hours on rebuilds, 9000 for the PAIR and it took them a year to sell.......

Those were not MERC 525SC's and although they had no hours, they had been sitting for a few years.
