Problem with Signature

Problem with Signature
I've had this issue for a while and thought I'd mention it now with Steve around.
When I try to change my signature, it says that I am limited to 5 lines of text. That's fine, but I'm barely trying to use two lines and it won't let me even do that. The signature I have currently is about as much text as it will let me have.
Thanks for any help.

HayJay,
The maximum number of lines is simply a rough guide. Unfortunately, it is not exact. The forum software that we use has a theme attached to it. This theme will sometimes change font the default font size which will change how this feature Browser and style variations also come into play.
To try and make up for this, this forum software uses what is called a Soft-Linebreak Character Limit. When counting the number of lines in a signature, this setting controls the number of characters that can be displayed before text wraps in the browser and is displayed as multiple lines. Once this value is surpassed, the run of text will be counted as multiple lines. Right now, this setting is set to 20. So every 20 characters is going to be counted as a new line.
I hope this helps.
